on Tue, 08/26/2014 - 4:10pmPenGame is an interactive 4 hour master class for upcoming songwriters and producers, taught by RocNation's songwriter Chase J and Grammy Award winning producer Chris Henderson, with special publishing and PRO session with ASCAP director Jennifer Goicoechea.
PenGame will open up by reviewing and critiquing records and beats from the participants. Next Chase and Chris will walk writers and producers thru the process of creating a hit record; song structure, melodic concepts, hooks 101, choosing beats, song selection, building a beat, publishing and more.
We will break for lunch
After lunch participants will take the beat made with Chris and break into groups to write a song ( verse and hook), each group will record their song and we will review their progress.
Each participant will receive a course syllabus, their session, as well as a current "Who's Looking" list.
