This song came from a moment in my life where I started embracing and accepting who I am, now, as an artist. I said to myself before writing this song that Im going to speak my truth. Originally, the song was recorded to an entire different beat Dj Mod sent me. It didn't really stick, so he threw it on this beat just to try something, & I instantly fell involve with the new sound.
