Joy Jeanette recently finished recording "I'm Free" a song which she wrote for all of those who have found inner freedom regardless of circumstance. This song acts as a testimony to the inner freedom Joy Jeanette found after being raised in a church community and home schooled, to being in an abusive relationship at a very young age and then being incarcerated after defending herself. Joy's record was later expunged by the governor but in order to get physical freedom she had to obtain inner freedom first.
