Are you concert ready? Do you have what it takes to do a 10-15 minute set? We want to see! Makin’ It Magazine is planning it’s first independent concert and we’re looking for eight acts to Rock the Stage.
Unlike our other performance opportunities, members will help pick the lineup for this concert. Don’t worry, you won’t have to beg for votes. Instead, you’ll just submit a lineup of 8 artists (including yourself) that you think would make for a great show!
Our team will review your lists and select the one we’re most excited about. Those artists will be booked for the concert and included in full promo campaign leading up to the show.
About the Concert
Makin’ It Magazine is covering 100% cost of the show (DJ, Venue, Security, Promotion, Radio, Flyers, Sound Engineer, etc). Artists will not be required to pay any fees to participate in the show. Concert will take place in Atlanta and is tentatively scheduled for late February. We’ll also be selecting one act from the concert to perform on our stage during SxSW.
Not near Atlanta? Makin' It Magazine will provide Paid Flight and Hotel if your show list is selected.
What’s the Catch.
To submit a lineup for this concert you must have an active membership and all artists included in your show list must be members. You can view a list of Eligible Artists Here!
Tips
- Review list of eligible acts. If you find someone you want to add to your line-up, message them. Confirm they’re available and interested in the concert. Build a relationship with them. Maybe they’ll add you to their line up too. Artists DO NOT have to be from Atlanta but they must come to Atlanta for the show.
- If you want to add an artist that isn’t eligible, invite them to become a member on the site and make sure they complete their profile. Send them the link to this page or http://MakinItMag.com/ATLConcert
- Not an Artist? You can still submit a show lineup for consideration. If selected, you'll be brought in to participate in the event and promoted as the shows curator. Example: "[YOUR NAME] Presents... The Concert ATL!"
