Submit for #ThePowerLunch with Industry Veteran Wendy Day (Eminem, Cash Money, No Limit, David Banner, Trouble, etc)

Deadline has Passed

What is the Power Lunch?

#ThePowerLunch is a unique experience designed to connect INDIES to the INDUSTRY. Tapping into our extensive contact list of industry veterans, we provide rising talent and aspiring industry professionals with the chance to land a ONE on ONE meeting with a key player in the industry.

Held over lunch, the meeting provides the opportunity to gain knowledge, present music, get career advice, pitch a business or just build a genuine relationship with someone who may be an ally for your brand.

How does this work?

This opportunity is NOT exclusively for artists. It is open to all creatives (Producers, Artists, etc) and aspiring industry professionals (Managers, Bloggers, Publicists, etc). All you have to do to be chosen is submit 3 questions that you would ask during the meeting. The member who we feel would benefit most from the meeting will be chosen.

Who is Wendy Day?

With more than 25 years in the music industry, Wendy Day, has been the driving force behind some of the most historic deals in hip hop. Playing a pivotal role in the careers of artists such as Lil Wayne, Eminem, Juvenile, Master P, Twista, David Banner, and Trouble, Wendy has forged a career based not only on empowering talent but making sure they always got their fair share.

Her blogs, articles and (most recently) book series have illuminated the path to success for countless independent artists, labels and aspiring industry professionals. The articles published on her former website (RapCointelPro) nearly two decades ago, planted the seeds for what is now Makin’ It Magazine.

Leveraging the capabilities that today’s digital landscape affords artists, Wendy now works exclusively with independents to help them retain control of both their career and creativity. Applying tried and true marketing strategies to the ever changing world of music and technology, she consistently helps independents exploit new opportunities to better brand and monetize themselves.

What do I Get

We setup the meeting. We cover your lunch and if you're more than a 3-4 hour drive away from Atlanta, we'll cover your flight & Hotel.

This is a unique opportunity to pick the brain of someone who can honestly tell you how this industry really works. Wendy routinely shows artists with investors how to start their own label or stay independent and make money with their music (like she's currently doing with Trouble of Duct Tape Entertainment)

Submission Deadline: 11:59PM February 20th

In the event of a tie, member who submitted earliest will be chosen. Don't Procrastinate.
