"Chosen" is about letting go. Vante's inspiration for this record came after falling out of a long-term relationship - chronic cheating, physical and emotional abuse, gaslighting, amongst other destructive behaviors. Above all of this, what Vante found most difficult to cope with was losing the bond he built with his first love..
