Shaking up the scene in 2013, Ladomminic Battles, also known as, Tex, put his town on the map, with the stree hit I`m From Marlin. Originally born in Seattle, Washington, Tex moved to Marlin, Texas at the age of 6. It was his older cousin Robert Rhodes that influenced him to begin writing his own rhymes at a early age.
